Forbes reports that the FDA has found increased lead levels in lipstick. Keep in mind that “the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued a report asserting that there is no safe level of lead for children and stressing the importance of preventing lead exposure for children and pregnant women.”

Headlines: Contaminated Baby Wipes

Here’s one I never considered: disposable baby wipes can carry dangerous – even fatal – bacteria. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that a manufacturer knowingly shipped potentially dangerous wipes, and that after confirming bacterial contamination, the FDA failed to take Enforcement action.
